La Gringa Hostel Emblem
Small logo project I completed in exchange for room & board at a Peruvian surf hostel.
Client for this project: La Gringa Hostal in the Peruvian surf town of Huanchaco. In exchange for a free bed and a beer each night, I agreed to design a logo.
Notebook idea sketching, capturing the character and strengths of the hostel.
Design progression: pencil sketch > Illustrator vectors > hand drawn linework overlay
Final design featuring iconic objects of the hostel and the greater city, to be used for online branding, t-shirts, stickers, etc.
